Welcome to the ILRI Campus in Nairobi,Kenya
The International Livestock Research Institute ([http:www.ilri.org| ILRI]) is located on the western outskirts of the city of Nairobi near Uthiru. The institute’s 67-acre campus consists of office blocks, laboratories, greenhouses, recreational areas, workshops and a research farm. The campus is close to some of the city’s modern shopping centres and other agricultural research institutes such as the Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research Organization ([http:www.kalro.org/| KALRO]) and the University of Nairobi, College of Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences (CAVs). The campus hosts the offices of 4 other CGIAR centres working in Kenya and the region.
